Fast-paced digital agency, Reusser, is seeking a confident, strategic, and highly organized Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team.

The ideal candidate is a strong marketing generalist who understands how digital channels work together to drive measurable business outcomes. This person is equally comfortable leading strategy conversations with clients, building actionable marketing plans, coaching team members, and helping operationalize execution internally.

This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-moving agency environment and enjoys balancing strategy, leadership, performance, and organization. The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with the Director of Marketing to help lead client accounts, support team growth, and improve the effectiveness and scalability of our marketing operations.

The right person is proactive, accountable, collaborative, performance focused, and detail oriented. They understand how to translate business goals into clear marketing strategies while ensuring teams stay aligned, focused, and moving forward.

About the Job

The Digital Marketing Manager serves as a strategic leader within Reusser’s marketing department, helping guide both client success and internal team performance.

This role combines:

The Digital Marketing Manager will oversee marketing initiatives across a variety of B2B and B2C clients while collaborating closely with internal strategists, designers, developers, content creators, performance specialists, and the Delivery team to ensure work is executed effectively.

Strategic Leadership

The Digital Marketing Manager works directly with clients to understand their business goals, challenges, audiences, and KPIs, then translates those insights into practical digital marketing strategies and implementation plans.

This includes:

  • Leading strategy discussions and client planning sessions
  • Building annual marketing plans and quarterly roadmaps
  • Creating multi-channel marketing strategies
  • Developing campaign and channel-level strategies
  • Identifying opportunities for growth, optimization, and innovation
  • Ensuring marketing initiatives align with measurable business outcomes

This role requires someone who understands how digital channels work together — including websites, social media, email marketing, automation, analytics, content strategy, lead generation, SEO fundamentals, AI visibility concepts, and performance marketing principles.

While the Digital Marketing Manager should be knowledgeable across marketing disciplines, they will collaborate closely with internal subject matter experts and performance specialists to help shape channel-specific strategies and recommendations.

Client Leadership & Account Ownership

The Digital Marketing Manager will serve as a lead strategist and trusted advisor for client accounts.

This includes:

  • Building strong client relationships
  • Leading meetings and presenting strategies with confidence
  • Providing clear recommendations and guidance
  • Communicating campaign performance and next steps
  • Helping clients prioritize marketing investments and initiatives
  • Maintaining a high level of responsiveness, professionalism, and ownership

While the Director of Marketing may remain directly involved in select accounts, this role is expected to independently lead and manage most client relationships over time.

Planning, Operations & Execution

This role plays a significant part in improving operational excellence within the marketing department.

The Digital Marketing Manager will help bring structure, organization, and accountability to marketing initiatives while ensuring plans are actionable and aligned with execution teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining annual plans, quarterly plans, and campaign roadmaps
  • Coordinating strategy documentation and planning deliverables
  • Working closely with the Delivery team to operationalize tactical plans
  • Helping prioritize workloads and initiatives across accounts
  • Ensuring strategic plans move efficiently into execution
  • Supporting process improvements and operational consistency

This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and moving pieces simultaneously.

Leadership & Collaboration

The Digital Marketing Manager will act as a strategic leader and key partner within the marketing department.

This includes:

  • Guiding marketing strategies and helping elevate the tactical work of the broader team
  • Driving project accountability by keeping teams aligned on expectations
  • Ensuring overall campaign quality and strategic alignment across all marketing initiatives

This role should be comfortable discussing KPIs, campaign performance, conversion strategy, attribution, and growth opportunities with clients while collaborating closely with internal performance specialists on channel execution and optimization strategies.

The Digital Marketing Manager will work alongside specialists focused on areas such as:

  • SEO
  • AI Visibility & Readiness
  • AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)
  • Paid media and performance advertising
  • Analytics and optimization

This role is expected to help guide the broader strategic direction while leveraging internal expertise to strengthen channel-level performance and execution.

Content, AI & Innovation

The Digital Marketing Manager will contribute to and guide content strategy efforts across multiple channels.

This may include:

  • Website messaging and landing page strategy
  • Email marketing content
  • Blog and thought leadership planning
  • Campaign messaging and positioning
  • Organic social media strategy

This role should also be comfortable leveraging AI-powered tools and automation platforms to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and accelerate delivery without sacrificing quality.

About You

  • 8–10+ years of experience in digital marketing, digital strategy, or agency marketing environments
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including content marketing, websites, email marketing, social media, analytics, SEO fundamentals, AI visibility concepts, and performance marketing principles
  • Experience building annual marketing plans, campaign strategies, and multi-channel initiatives
  • Experience managing people, coaching team members, and providing performance feedback
  • Confident leading client meetings and presenting strategies
  • Strong organizational and project planning abilities
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
  • Experience reviewing campaign performance and making data-driven recommendations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across departments and disciplines
  • Self-starter with a high level of ownership and accountability
