Warehouse Worker at Clean Harbors
Safety-Kleen in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Warehouse Worker (known internally as a Material Handler) to join their safety conscious team! You will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner.

- Unload and reload route truck;
- Reload route trucks with supplies and equipment for next day’s runs
- Ensures all waste and containers are in acceptable shipping condition and organized for transport to recycle or distribution centers
- Conduct inventory count and reconciliation
- Verify, receive, stock, and organize product
- Pick, package, and ship outbound orders
- Operate heavy material handling equipment such as forklift and pallet jack
- Load and unload trucks with various equipment and by hand
- Coordinate transportation for outbound shipments
- Local deliveries when needed
- Move trailers or trucks within the yard
- Housekeeping in the branch (painting, picking up trash, sweeping, cleaning, straightening)
- Assist other business units
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
- Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
- Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
What does it take to work at Safety-Kleen?
- High school diploma or GED;
- Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity;
- Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements;
- Reliable transportation required for local travel between facilities.
- Strong communication skills;
- Problem solving skills;
- Intermediate computer skills with applications such as Microsoft Office – Excel and Outlook experience required
- Ability to work with waste labels, manifests, and load sheets;
- Forklift experience required Experience in a warehouse environment preferred
