JV Girls Volleyball Coach at CoachCorner

York Prep School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated JV Girls Volleyball Coach for the Fall 2026 season. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a junior varsity program focused on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fostering a positive student-athlete experience.

Mon-Thurs 4-5pm practice 4-6pm games

Responsibilities

• Lead all JV girls volleyball practices and competitions

• Teach fundamental volleyball skills, team systems, and game strategy

• Create engaging practice plans that support player development

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented culture

• Manage game-day preparation and coaching responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with student-athletes, families, and school administrators

• Serve as a mentor and positive role model for players

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes

Qualifications

• Previous volleyball playing and/or coaching experience preferred

• Experience working with middle school or high school athletes is a plus

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to motivate and develop athletes of varying skill levels

• Reliable, professional, and committed to the full season
