Ticket Sales Manager at Tampa Bay Sun FC
Reports To: Director of Revenue

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and results-driven Ticket Sales Manager to help lead revenue efforts for Tampa Bay’s first women’s professional soccer team. This role will report directly to the Director of Revenue and will be responsible for leading the day-to-day ticket sales team, driving revenue growth, developing staff, and supporting departmental goals across full season memberships, partial plans, group sales, premium experiences, and special events.
The Ticket Sales Manager will play a key leadership role in building accountability, creating structure, and helping the sales team execute at a high level. This person must be a strong communicator, coach, and problem-solver who can operate independently while collaborating closely with the Director of Revenue and other departments across the organization.
Essential Duties & Expectations
- Lead and manage full-time ticket sales staff, including daily workflow, pacing, accountability, and performance expectations.
- Develop monthly sales standards, goals, and KPIs for team members in alignment with department revenue targets.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development to help sales representatives improve performance and grow within the organization.
- Create and manage weekly staffing schedules to ensure proper coverage for sales outreach, office responsibilities, events, and game days.
- Support the Director of Revenue with special projects that drive revenue, improve processes, and create departmental efficiencies.
- Attend and work all home games, potential playoff matches, sales events, community events, and prospecting events as assigned.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive deposits, season tickets, partial plans, group sales, premium inventory, and special event revenue.
- Motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed individual and department revenue goals.
- Assist in developing and promoting ticket packages, VIP experiences, and premium offerings to increase customer engagement and revenue.
- Train sales representatives on sales techniques, product knowledge, CRM usage, customer service, and relationship-building best practices.
- Partner with marketing to support promotional campaigns that help drive ticket sales, attendance, and fan engagement.
- Monitor sales data, attendance trends, market activity, and team pacing to help forecast revenue and identify areas of opportunity.
- Ensure all sales efforts are aligned with department budgets, revenue goals, and organizational priorities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- The ideal candidate is a motivated sales leader with a strong understanding of ticket sales, team development, and revenue generation. This person should be comfortable managing people, holding staff accountable, and helping build a strong sales culture as the organization continues to grow.
- Candidates should have strong communication skills, a team-first mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Cultural fit, professionalism, and the ability to operate independently at a high level are essential.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Sports Management, or related field preferred
- A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in customer service and sales performing the essential duties listed above within the sports and entertainment industry.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience managing, coaching, and hiring staff preferred.
- Creative and enthusiastic daily approach to inspire teammates.
- Ability to strategize and forecast future results using data and analytics.
- Ability to build strong and collaborative relationships with staff.
- Self-motivated, with ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment and as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
