CDL Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable CDL Driver to make customer deliveries and

pickups across the NY Metro area, Westchester, New Jersey, and

Connecticut. In this role, you will safely operate box trucks and

flatbeds, ensure timely deliveries, and provide excellent customer

service. When not on the road, you will be expected to assist the team

in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving & Deliveries: Make customer deliveries and pickups. Verify,

count, and unload material at customers' job sites in a timely

manner.

• Warehouse Operations: Help in the warehouse when not actively

driving. Check materials and load flatbeds and box trucks.

• Safety & Compliance: Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety

inspections. Submit daily DOT logs and remain strictly DOT compliant

at all times. Adhere to all federal and state regulations regarding

motor vehicle operation, as well as CBSI safety standards and the

Company Service Guarantee.

• Safe Operation: Use caution on the road, driving in a manner that

consistently reduces risk. Complete all trips in a responsible,

conscious, and safe manner.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour.
• Schedule: 8-hour or 10-hour shifts.
• Availability: Overtime and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be prompt, responsive, take direction well, and work

effectively alongside others.

• Must provide excellent customer service.

Physical Demands

You Must Be Able To Perform The Following

• Lift at least 100 lbs.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Work outdoors safely in all types of weather conditions.
• Speak over a cell phone or landline phone.
