About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Account Director to lead client relationships, drive account growth, and oversee the successful execution of integrated marketing initiatives. This leadership role is ideal for a client-focused professional with a strong agency background who excels at developing long-term partnerships, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering measurable business results.
As an Account Director, you will serve as the senior point of contact for key clients, providing strategic guidance while ensuring campaigns are executed seamlessly and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring exceptional service and long-term client satisfaction.
- Develop trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor.
- Drive account growth through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, content, media, and brand channels.
- Collaborate with internal Creative, Strategy, Media, Digital, and Production teams to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
- Lead client presentations, quarterly business reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
- Manage project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to clients.
- Mentor and support Account Managers and Account Executives, fostering professional growth and team success.
- Ensure profitability, account health, and achievement of revenue targets.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, and competitive activity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in account management, client services, or marketing within an agency environment.
- 2+ years of experience managing or mentoring account teams.
- Proven ability to manage enterprise or high-value client relationships.
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Experience managing multiple projects and budgets in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, project management tools, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with national or global brands.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, paid media, social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and marketing analytics.
- Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics, or similar tools.
