Alpha Anywhere represents the virtual transformation of Alpha's innovative school model. We combine AI-driven academics with twice-weekly 1:1 coaching sessions to provide what traditional classrooms cannot: individualized mastery, acceleration, and sustained motivation. This isn't tutoring. This isn't conventional teaching. This is high-performance coaching for students ready to learn 2x faster—and who need guidance to reach that capability.

You'll support 3rd–8th grade students around the world by driving quantifiable academic progress through mindset development, not direct instruction. Your mission is to maintain high standards, cultivate belief, and transform school into something that feels like achievement. Each session you conduct carries weight. What You Will Be Doing

• Conducting two weekly 1:1 virtual coaching sessions per student, concentrating on academic target-setting, motivation, and mindset cultivation
• Hosting open "office hours" where students can drop in for immediate support, encouragement, or problem-solving
• Leveraging AI tools and dashboards to monitor student advancement, pinpoint obstacles, and refine your coaching methodology
• Recording insights, concerns, and strategic adjustments to keep each student on an accelerated growth path
• Working alongside your team to exchange strategies, escalate issues, and continuously refine the coaching framework

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Instructing lessons, evaluating tests, or distributing homework—our technology manages the academic content
• Presenting lectures or adhering to a prescribed curriculum
• Babysitting or micromanaging unmotivated students—we coach, we don't hover
• Enduring unnecessary meetings or administrative red tape
• Operating on autopilot—this team is designed for individuals who want to perform at an elevated level and create real impact

Youth Success Coach Key Responsibilities

Drive quantifiable academic progress and engagement for virtual students by providing high-frequency, high-impact mindset coaching within a fully remote, technology-enabled model.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
• Demonstrated high performance in any field—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
• Strong virtual presence and capacity to connect with students rapidly over Zoom/Google Meet
• Comfortable using dashboards and tech tools to track and adjust performance
• Able to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to align with U.S. time zones

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational work
• Experience working with homeschool or alternative education families

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
