Center City District wants you to join us as a Community Service Representatives (CSR) to support the mission of the Center City District (CCD) to keep Center City clean, safe, and attractive by serving as a visible, welcoming, and reassuring presence on the sidewalks of Center City, providing information to those who work and live in CCD, as well as for shoppers and tourists. As the main point of contact for on-street interactions, visits to ground floor businesses and front-door office building, hotel, and residential building staff in their assigned service areas, and an as place managers and street-level problem-solvers, CSRs serve as brand ambassadors for the CCD. They engage the public, share useful information about the public space management services of the Center City District, and oversee public spaces, reporting problems occurring within those spaces.

This position is an outdoor position, walking in our district and interacting with the public.

• Ability, when communicating, to use a handheld, two-way radio requiring manual dexterity as well as other electronic devices issued by the CCD.
• Ability to use a touch screen portable electronic computer device (tablet).
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods in varied weather conditions.
• Ability to carry an equipment bag with all required equipment totaling no more than ten (10) pounds, and lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to observe activity within the CCD’s boundaries and report as appropriate.
• Ability to work outside in inclement weather with exposure to varied weather conditions.
• Outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent people skills.
• Must be fluent in the English language in both oral and written communication, fluency in other languages a plus.
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment, supporting the CCD in a wide variety of activities.
