Producer, Content at Freshine Product Inc
Role Overview
We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Producer to join our in-house content team. In this role, you'll work closely with our Senior Content Producer to bring creative ideas to life — from brainstorming and pre-production through to shoot execution, onset directing and post-production review. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and is eager to grow within a content-first brand. This role reports directly to the Senior Content Producer and follows Wavytalk's hybrid work schedule, requiring four (4) days per week in the office.
Creative Ideation
- Brainstorm and contribute ideas for new projects while supporting the ideation and execution of in-house content.
- Stay up to date on trending and top-performing content to inform new strategies and creative concepts.
Production Support
- Support the Senior Content Producer in all logistical aspects of in-house production.
- Assist in organizing and creating all necessary production materials, including shot lists, schedules, scripts, and creative briefs.
- Ensure all team members are informed of any changes to schedules, locations, or project requirements in a timely manner.
- Document and track production progress, maintaining accurate records and organized files for easy reference.
Talent Sourcing
- Identify and source on-camera talent that aligns with Wavytalk's brand aesthetic and content goals.
- Coordinate talent outreach, scheduling, availability, and logistics ahead of shoots.
- Maintain and organize a talent database, tracking both past and prospective collaborators.
- Liaise with talent (and their representatives, where applicable) to confirm agreements, rates, and usage rights prior to production.
Prop Sourcing
- Research, source, and procure props, set dressing, and wardrobe items for shoots.
- Manage prop inventory, including tracking, organizing, and returning items as needed.
- Work within budget parameters to source materials efficiently and creatively.
- Prepare all props and products ahead of shoot days to ensure sets are camera-ready.
On-Set Directing
- Direct on-camera talent, providing clear and confident guidance to ensure performances align with the creative vision.
- Ensure the shot list is executed efficiently and all required content is captured within the scheduled shoot window.
- Maintain energy and momentum on set, keeping both crew and talent on schedule.
- Independently manage and direct smaller-scale content shoots from setup through wrap.
Shoot Coordination
- Ensure day-to-day shoots run smoothly by following production schedules and proactively resolving on-set challenges.
- Prepare sets for daily shoots, ensuring props, set dressing, wardrobe, and products are ready before filming begins.
- Communicate any last-minute changes clearly and efficiently to all relevant team members.
Post-Production
- Assist with post-production reviews and provide timely, constructive feedback to support high-quality final deliverables.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in content production, video production, or a related field (internship experience welcome).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- A genuine passion for content creation, social media, and beauty or lifestyle brands.
- Familiarity with social media platforms — especially TikTok and Instagram — and an understanding of what makes content perform.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and adapt quickly to change.
- Experience on set (even in a support capacity).
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
