Brief Description

Client & Team Interactions

  • Create high quality content and execute exceptional research to support internal and external projects
  • Present and discuss content to internal teams and external clients and ensure client direction has been followed and additional recommendations have been provided
  • Maintain client relationships in continued engagement with Petauri Advance

Business Development

  • Conduct research and identify key strategic imperatives for pitches and/or proposals
  • Flag opportunities for organic growth
  • Collaborate with Client Services regularly to discuss tactical brand needs and future planning

Staffing

  • May assist with interviews and provide feedback on potential hires
  • May train new team members on specific tasks and assist in addressing challenges within the MSS team
  • Help support and integrate new members of Petauri as needed

Company

  • Ensure company culture, policies, and standards of performance are met
  • Communicate and maintain trust relationships with team members and clients
  • Represents the company in ways that strengthen its profile
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions

Competencies

  • General understanding of the oncology and/or hematology markets
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex or diverse information in order to communicate effectively in oral/written form

  • Strong familiarity with AMA Manual of Style guidelines
  • Highly proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat preferred

Requirements

Advanced terminal degree in biomedical sciences, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, or equivalent experience. Minimal (less than one year) work experience in an agency, the pharmaceutical industry, or a related scientific or medical writing position in oncology or hematology.

A Medical Writer assists in high quality content development and expert research aligned with clients and experts in a timely and cost-effective manner, driving the strategic direction of the product. Managing client and physician satisfaction is critical and primarily ensured by high quality content.
