Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for coordinating outbound shipments of finished goods and inbound deliveries of raw materials to ensure efficient and accurate logistics operations. This role requires strong collaboration with internal departments and external partners to support seamless supply chain execution across domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound shipments for domestic and international customers, ensuring on-time and accurate delivery.
• Manage inbound raw material deliveries, including scheduling and coordination with the unloading team.
• Plan and schedule outbound shipments in partnership with the warehouse team to optimize loading and dispatch operations.
• Assign loads and generate shipment labels, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Verify container numbers and seals, maintaining precise and up-to-date shipping documentation.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of customer accounts, including product specifications and shipping requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Manufacturing, Accounting, and warehouse teams, as well as external partners such as freight carriers, rail providers, brokers, and regulatory agencies.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support efficient logistics operations.
• Apply knowledge of plant operations, including production, inventory, and logistics processes, to enhance planning and coordination.
• Oversee rail logistics, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination with service providers.
• Process inbound documentation and ensure timely preparation of labels for receiving teams.
• Support warehouse operations related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Ensure all shipment documentation (domestic and international) is accurate, complete, and compliant.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or shipment coordination.
• Hands-on experience with scheduling shipments, documentation, and freight coordination.
• Strong understanding of plant logistics, production flow, and inventory processes.
• Experience coordinating transportation resources, including internal drivers and external carriers.
• Proficiency with systems used for shipping, labeling, and logistics documentation.
• High attention to detail, particularly with shipment data such as container numbers and seals.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with rail logistics or rail service providers.
• Background in warehouse operations or close collaboration with warehouse teams.
• Familiarity with shipping regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting domestic and international shipment documentation.
• Exposure to operational support functions such as payroll or administrative assistance in a logistics setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
