Admissions Coordinator, Unbound Academy (Remote) - $50,000/year USD at Crossover
Success in this role depends on your ability to establish trust with a parent within the first moments of a conversation. This position suits someone who thrives on outreach, maintains disciplined follow-up, and can articulate a nontraditional learning model without depending on scripts. If you tend to avoid phone-based communication or prefer environments without defined performance metrics, this role will not align with your strengths.
Unbound Academy operates as a virtual, tuition-free public charter school offering students an alternative educational model. Core academics are completed in a concentrated time block using AI-supported learning, allowing students to dedicate the remainder of their day to real-world skill development through projects and enrichment. You will serve as the first substantive contact for families considering this option.
Your weekly responsibilities will include responding promptly to new inquiries, shepherding families through the admissions journey, and advancing them from curiosity to confirmed enrollment. You will also represent Unbound Academy at community events to generate leads and increase local visibility. During slower enrollment periods, you will support broader school operations while remaining prepared for the next intake cycle.
If you are looking for a role where your communication skills, follow-through, and accountability directly influence student enrollment outcomes, we would like to speak with you.
What You Will Be Doing
- Reaching out to new inbound leads within 24 hours and beginning admissions discussions by phone
- Describing Unbound Academy's virtual model and enrollment procedures using clear, accessible language
- Maintaining disciplined follow-up to advance families from inquiry through application to enrollment
- Recording all interactions in a CRM with precise notes, scheduled next steps, and pipeline status
- Planning and facilitating local recruitment events in Texas or Arizona to present the school and collect new leads
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Allowing inbound leads to sit unattended while you focus on administrative tasks
- Relying on rigid scripts or functioning like a high-volume call center
- Attending events in a passive capacity without actively presenting or generating leads
- Dedicating most of your time to back-office tasks during periods of active enrollment demand
