Talent Acquisition Critical Skills Pipeline Sourcer (Remote) at Lockheed Martin
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or talent acquisition, with demonstrated success building pipelines for technical or critical skill roles.
- Hands-on experience with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, or comparable platforms.
- Strong Boolean search skills and ability to surface hard-to-find passive talent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, personalized outreach that converts.
- Proven ability to manage multiple pipelines, stakeholders, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The Critical Skills Talent Pipeline Sourcer is a strategic talent intelligence function. You will be the architect of high-quality, future ready candidate pipelines across the organization's most critical and hard-to-fill skill areas. Working at the intersection of data, relationships, and market intelligence, you'll partner with Talent Acquisition leaders, recruiters, and hiring leaders to ensure we're never starting from zero when critical roles open.
This is a proactive, research-intensive role for someone who thrives on the hunt, someone who finds the candidates others can't, builds communities before there's a req, and turns market data into actionable hiring strategy.
What You Will Be Doing
Pipeline Development & Sourcing Strategy
- Design and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies to build robust, ready-now and ready-next talent pipelines for critical and emerging skill areas across the organization.
- Identify, engage, and convert passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, GitHub, Boolean search, professional communities, industry events, and targeted referral campaigns.
- Build and manage segmented talent pools for high priority, niche, and hard-to-fill roles, ensuring pipelines are continuously refreshed and engagement is maintained.
Market Intelligence & Talent Research
- Conduct in-depth market mapping and competitive talent research to identify target companies, talent concentrations, compensation benchmarks, and candidate personas.
- Deliver ongoing insights to TA leadership and hiring managers on talent supply and demand, competitor hiring activity, and emerging skill trends.
- Translate market intelligence into sourcing recommendations that inform workforce planning and hiring timelines.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner closely with TA Leaders, recruiters, and hiring managers to understand workforce plans, headcount forecasts, and evolving skill needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on talent availability and market conditions for assigned critical skill areas.
- Influence sourcing strategy and hiring expectations through data-backed storytelling and pipeline reporting.
Candidate Engagement & Experience
- Build and sustain authentic, long-term relationships with prospective candidates through personalized outreach, content sharing, and community engagement.
- Champion a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint, ensuring all pipeline members feel valued (whether or not there's an active opportunity).
Metrics & Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline activity, candidate profiles, and engagement history within the ATS and CRM.
- Track and analyze sourcing KPIs including pipeline coverage, conversion rates, time-to-engage, and source-of-hire effectiveness.
Desired Skills
- Experience supporting workforce planning or talent intelligence functions.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Beamery, Phenom, Avature) and ATS platforms (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS).
- Exposure to employer branding, talent marketing, or recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Experience in a corporate TA environment, RPO, or high-volume sourcing capacity.
