Restaurant Content Creator & Marketing Assistant at Salem's Fresh Eats

Position Overview

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Content Creator & Marketing Assistant to help drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and store traffic across our restaurant locations.

This role blends content creation, social media management, and day-to-day marketing support. If you’re passionate about food, trends, and creating engaging content that converts—this is a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Capture and produce high-quality photo/video content (Reels, TikTok, Stories).
• Create on-brand social media posts, captions, and short-form videos.
• Shoot in-store content featuring menu items, promotions, and team culture.
• Edit content quickly for real-time posting.

Social Media Management

• Assist in managing Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms.
• Schedule posts and maintain a consistent content calendar.
• Monitor comments, messages, and engagement trends.
• Identify viral trends and adapt them to the brand.

Marketing Support

• Help execute promotions, LTO launches, and in-store campaigns.
• Coordinate with operations teams for store-level marketing.
• Support email, SMS, and digital campaigns as needed.
• Track performance of posts and campaigns (engagement, reach, conversions).

Qualifications

• Experience creating content for social media (restaurant experience a plus).
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and short-form video trends.
• Basic editing skills (CapCut, Adobe, Canva, or similar).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation for in-store content capture.
