Your New Role
Pay Range: $78,320 - $97,900 / annually; based on experience.
Hours: Varied schedule Monday-Friday with ability to provide off-hours club support when needed.
Responsibilities
The Assistant District Manager supports in mentoring, coaching, and training managers and club teams across the district. Working in tandem with the District Manager (DM), the ADM leads the district to operational excellence in cleanliness, customer service, and culture through strong communication and building sustainable professional relationships.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and developing exceptional club leaders and operational field teams, ensuring new hires are fully trained, supported, and set up for success
- Ensure club leadership and teams deliver outstanding member experiences by maintaining high standards in customer service, culture, cleanliness, and operational excellence
- Build strong relationships and a collaborative environment with club managers and their teams through regular site visits, hands-on support, and open communication
- Support club leaders in staffing, scheduling, KPOs, and labor management to ensure clubs are appropriately staffed while meeting business goals
- Address escalated member and team concerns with professionalism, sound judgment, and a solutions-focused mindset
- Partner with the DM to identify opportunities in process improvements, enhance operational efficiencies, and elevate overall club and member experiences throughout the district
- Oversee inventory, safety, and operational compliance to ensure clubs remain safe, well-stocked, and running smoothly
- Ensure Kids Club operations and standards are consistently upheld, creating a safe and welcoming experience for families
- Create engaging district meetings, training events, and team-building opportunities that strengthen culture and celebrate success

Your Skills
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 3-5 years of management experience or equivalent industry work
- 3 years of previous customer service experience
- Ability to leverage strong interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate a positive environment and develop a strong team
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail
- Organized and accountable, able to set, reach, and prioritize goals
- Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-based mindset with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
Preferences
- Bachelor’s degree or currently continuing education
- Previous experience in the fitness industry
- Bilingual
Physical Abilities
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipment
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when needed
