We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our residential construction team and grow into a full Project Manager role. This position is designed for a construction professional who wants to take the next step in their career by gaining hands-on experience coordinating projects, working directly with subcontractors and homeowners, and learning the systems and processes required to successfully manage residential construction projects.
The ideal candidate has construction experience, strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a desire to develop into a leadership role within project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support residential construction projects from start to completion
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and homeowners
- Track project schedules, timelines, and critical milestones
- Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project standards
- Assist ownership and project leadership with project execution and customer communication
- Help identify and resolve project issues to keep schedules on track
- Maintain project documentation and communicate status updates as needed
- Learn company systems, processes, and construction standards
- Gradually assume increased responsibility with the goal of transitioning into a full Project Manager role
Qualifications
- Previous construction industry experience required
- Residential construction experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Comfortable interacting with homeowners, subcontractors, and vendors
- Proficient with technology and willing to learn project management systems
- Self-motivated with a desire for long-term career growth

Compensation
Target Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
