Assists in analyzing, verifying, tracking and reporting while being consistent with department standards. Assists management in database development, data gathering, data normalization, maintenance and loading of department related databases. Serves as liaison between outside software data vendors, solve problems and ensures data credibility.
Job Responsibility
- Educate users and provide technical guidance on Epic Cogito Tools
- Defines and articulate Epic reporting solution recommendations to senior leadership
- Identifies workflows and translates stakeholder requirements to analytics/Cogito team
- Audits reports to ensure logic is correct
- Takes ownership of resolutions
- Provides strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Assists in analyzing, verifying, tracking and reporting using internal and external business intelligence database applications.
- Assists in database development, data gathering, data normalization and loading of department related databases.
- Provides database maintenance, inserts, updates, deletes, permissions, audits, tuning and other related maintenance.
- Provides technical assistance to staff on use of computer software and definitions, as required.
- Ensures software, data, contract renewal, payment and invoices are up to date; maintains projects list for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Troubleshoots database operations and supports department requests for information.
- Installs third party software and data updates as required.
- Serves as a liaison between third party software and data vendors in coordinating services.
- Participates with departmental management in the preparation of meeting agendas and coordinates monthly department data meeting.
- Employees operate with direct guidance and work assignments are generally straightforward and of moderate complexity.

Job Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience, required.
Highly Preferred
- High collaborative spirit, comfortable working in cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with clinical workflows and healthcare data terminology
- Proficiency in Excel and Epic Cogito Suite (SlicerDicer, Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboard)
- Epic Cogito and Caboodle Data Model certification, preferred
- SQL proficiency, preferred
