Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, 5 8 hour shifts.

Summary

The Imaging Assistant is responsible for providing clerical support such as answering phones, computer work in Microsoft Outlook and Office, entering x-ray orders in Epic and operation of the Picture Archiving and Communication system. Responsible for greeting the patients, assisting the patient and parents with any questions about the procedure, and providing the appropriate Medication Reconciliation and MRI Safety screening forms. The Imaging assistant must possess good trouble shooting , communication, customer service and organizational skills. The Imaging Assistant would also be responsible for any other routine duties assigned by the Manager. The Imaging Assistant must possess good trouble shooting , communication , customer service and organizational skills. They must have a firm commitment to quality, and must demonstrate personal traits of a high level of trust, innovation, team orientation, compassion for employees, patients and families, commitment to children, motivation, professionalism and place a high value on treating others with dignity and respect.

Other Information

The Senior Imaging Assistant must have advanced computer skills.

The Senior Imaging Assistant must be able to work with a variety of personalities and maintain a good attitude.

The Senior Imaging Assistant must be able to keep patient information confidential.

Essential

  • High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent

Nonessential

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:

  • 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Imaging Diagnostic

The Radiology Administration department contains a variety of different jobs that all support the Imaging department. The Imaging department consist of the X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine/PET departments. The Radiology Administration department jobs include: Imaging Divisional Director who is responsible for the management of the imaging department. Imaging Educator who provides education support for the imaging staff. PACS Manager, PACS Administrators, & PACS Assistants who support IT systems in Imaging. Imaging Assistants & Senior Imaging Assistants who staff the front desk in Imaging where patients are greeted, registered, and imaging exam orders are placed. Divisional Secretaries who support the Imaging Divisional Director and the Radiologists.

Schedule: 5 8 hour shifts, Day Shift, 8-Hour Shifts
