MARKETING EVENTS COORDINATOR at Cella
Location: Local to San Francisco, CA to be onsite for events
Type: 6 month contract
Compensation: $30-$35/hr W2
We're seeking an experienced Marketing Events Coordinator to manage and sustain the ongoing work behind our partner event experience strategy. This role owns end-to-end project management and orchestration of the Partner Marketing Exchange, a flagship auxiliary event taking place during Partner Summit 2026, while also managing the day-to-day operating rhythms of our global partner events intake, governance, and accountability framework. Success in this role requires a blend of experiential design, event management, cross-team collaboration, and disciplined project management.
Responsibilities
Project & Program Management
- Gather timely updates from stakeholders on event strategy and experience progress, anticipating and meeting all deadlines while raising cross-functional awareness of risks to momentum.
- Support strategy leads in executing the overarching vision for the Partner Summit experience.
- Event Coordination & Experience Design.
- Remotely manage, orchestrate, and support the Partner Marketing Exchange held on-site at Partner Summit, including anticipating vendor needs, managing attendee registration and follow-ups, and organizing speaker resources.
- Support the marketing presence at Partner Summit so it integrates seamlessly with surrounding experiences and tells a cohesive partner story.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Partner closely with the Global Partner Marketing operating committee for Partner Summit, keeping them continuously informed and aligned.
- Maintain regular touchpoints with cross-functional teams so they stay current on strategy, process changes, and upcoming requirements.
Governance & Visibility
- Partner with the Sales & Global Events team to support committee operations, ensuring all tasks and action items are tracked and executed effectively.
- Maintain the established process for pre-, during-, and post-event social promotion, ensuring requirements and deliverables are clearly defined for the social team.
Operational Tools & Intake
- Oversight of the partner event request intake process, keeping it functional and managing all associated communications.
- Manage and update the GTM Partner Event Calendar, ensuring the interface stays user-friendly and easy to navigate for all stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary owner of the Partner Events SharePoint resource page, keeping all documentation and process guides current.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event coordination, experiential marketing, or program management for large-scale or field events.
- Vendor management experience (external speakers, production agencies, etc.) to execute in-person events.
- Exceptional project management skills, specifically creating a single unified project plan from scratch and tracking multi-stakeholder updates.
- Familiarity with storytelling and presentation tools for executive audiences.
