Painter at Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport Expo Ctr

Job Duties

• Repair wallpaper and drywall.
• Painting; including surface preparation and basic drywall.
• Assisting with other maintenance projects and repairs as needed.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in painting and staining.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to manage specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence.
• Basic attention to details and concern for the exact correctness of work.
• Ability to plan for, focus on, and complete tasks on time.
• Extremely task oriented with high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Must possess strong follow through on delegated tasks and assignments.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems independently.

Physical Requirements

• Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.
