Summary
This position is responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the hotel’s image and position within the marketplace. This position will direct the sales and marketing initiatives throughout the year working closely with the hotel’s Director of Sales and General Manager.
Qualifications
- Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that drive hotel awareness, guest engagement, and revenue growth across leisure, group, catering, and local business segments.
- Serve as the brand champion, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand identity across all guest touchpoints and marketing channels.
- Lead the annual marketing planning process, identifying business opportunities, market trends, and creative campaigns that support hotel goals throughout the booking cycle.
- Create and oversee engaging content including photography, video, social media, email marketing, digital advertising, and promotional materials that showcase the hotel's unique experiences.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Operations, and Corporate Marketing to develop campaigns that support occupancy, ADR, and overall revenue objectives.
- Manage the hotel's digital presence, including website content, online reputation, social media platforms, and local listings to maximize visibility and guest engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community organizations, tourism partners, chambers of commerce, convention and visitors bureaus, and media outlets to strengthen the hotel's presence within the market.
- Plan and execute public relations initiatives, media visits, influencer partnerships, and community events that generate positive brand awareness.
- Coordinate the design, production, and distribution of all hotel marketing collateral while ensuring compliance with brand standards and corporate guidelines.
- Monitor marketing performance using analytics and reporting tools, providing recommendations that optimize campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
- Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources and measurable results.
- Support the Sales team by developing creative promotional initiatives, sales presentations, and marketing resources that generate qualified leads and drive business.
- Participate in Revenue Strategy and Commercial meetings, providing market insights and marketing recommendations that support pricing and demand generation strategies.
- Foster a culture of marketing throughout the hotel by encouraging associates to be brand ambassadors and contributors to the guest experience.
- Maintain strong partnerships with Corporate Marketing to ensure alignment with brand initiatives, campaigns, and strategic priorities.
- Stay current on hospitality trends, emerging marketing technologies, consumer behavior, and competitive activity to bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the hotel.
