Manager, Creator Marketing & Activations at NJ/NY Gotham FC
NJ/NY Gotham FC (“Gotham FC” or “the Club”) is a National Women’s Soccer League (“NWSL”) team representing New Jersey and New York. The team plays at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ. Gotham FC is seeking a Manager, Creator Marketing and Brand Activations who will build and define strategies that help Gotham show up in the local NYC market through innovative, strategic, and nontraditional marketing concepts that drive brand awareness, relevance, and growth for the club. This role will report to the Director, Brand and Fan Experience. The successful candidate will play a critical role in growing Gotham FC’s local relevance and visibility. This manager will lead creator marketing, brand activations, and work with the director, Brand and Fan Experience on campaign strategy to drive awareness, cultural impact, and audience growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Devise and lead a creator marketing strategy that helps Gotham reach new audiences, break through the noise, & grow awareness locally
- Define creator roadmap and goals with measurable, trackable KPIs
- Manage external creator/influencer agency relationship and performance
- Develop creator strategies that align with priority matches and audience growth
- Approve creator selections, briefs, and content outputs
- Track performance and optimize creator campaigns based on KPIs
- Devise nontraditional marketing strategies leveraging club/brand assets, including stunts and activation plans that help generate local awareness for Gotham FC in core geos tied to priority initiatives.
- Owns execution of brand activations from concept through delivery, including coordination with relevant internal teams. This may span creator-led, talent-led, experiential-led, or other insight-driven concepts.
- Define clear KPIs for brand stunts, working cross-functionally with other departments as needed to bring to life, including Content, Communications/PR, and more
- Other Responsibilities: Supports matchday execution with hands-on involvement across key activations and in-stadium creator/VIP experiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Sports Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 4–6 years of experience in brand marketing, creator/influencer marketing, experiential marketing, partnerships, sports, entertainment, or lifestyle marketing.
- Proven experience managing creators, influencers, talent, agencies, or brand partnerships.
- Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns and live activations from strategy through execution.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience analyzing campaign performance and translating insights into future strategy.
- Passion for sports, culture, entertainment, and women's sports, with a strong understanding of emerging trends across social media and creator ecosystems.

Location
This role will work at Gotham FC’s business office, which is located at 15 Exchange Place Jersey City, New Jersey. There is an expectation of three in-person days, with the ability to be on location more depending on project needs. Ability to attend all home games and any mandatory events as well as away games, as necessary. A willingness to travel for other business-related needs, as they arise. Gotham FC requires its associates to live in its market, that is, within reasonable commuting distance of Gotham FC’s offices, practice facility, and Sports Illustrated Stadium.

Job type: Full-time, exempt position
Salary range: $70,000 - 90,000 annually
