We're looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative with a passion for sales and fitness to join a leading commercial fitness equipment distributor. In this role, you'll develop new business, build lasting client relationships, and provide customized fitness equipment and flooring solutions to businesses across the San Francisco Bay Area. Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients across assigned market segments.
- Prospect new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and lead generation activities.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend customized fitness equipment and facility solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and solution development to proposal presentation, closing, and project handoff.
- Grow and manage an assigned sales territory while meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience during installation and project completion.
- Maintain accurate sales activities, pipeline updates, and customer records using Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Attend client meetings, networking events, and industry-related activities within the assigned territory.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of outside/B2B sales experience; experience in the fitness, wellness, sports, or commercial equipment industry is a plus.
- Proven ability to generate new business and manage the full sales cycle.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of strength training, health, wellness, or the fitness industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently from a home office while traveling throughout the assigned territory for client meetings and events.
- Must be based in or willing to travel extensively throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to exceed sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
