Care Advocate - Part-Time at GreyZone
About GreyZone Health
GreyZone Health is a patient advocacy practice specializing in complex, rare, and diagnostically challenging medical conditions. We partner with clients and families to achieve diagnostic clarity, coordinate multi-specialty care, and navigate the healthcare system with clinical expertise and compassion. As we expand, we are seeking two experienced clinicians for part-time Care Advocate roles.
Position Overview
GreyZone Care Advocates serve as the lead clinical strategist and point of contact for a small caseload of medically complex clients. Each Advocate functions as the project manager of their client's case — driving the diagnostic and care coordination strategy, keeping the big picture in view, and managing and executing on the day-to-day tasks required to move a case forward. Advocates work in close, continuous collaboration with the rest of the GreyZone team, who supplement and support their work across nursing, physician advisory, and administrative functions.
This is fundamentally a team-based practice built on teamwork. No Advocate carries a case alone: cases are discussed, cross-checked, and advanced collaboratively, and Advocates are expected to communicate proactively with colleagues and leadership throughout the engagement.
Our Approach to Diagnostic Advocacy
GreyZone employs a refined, systematic methodology for complex diagnostic cases developed over years of practice. We seek Advocates who are curious, open to learning, and committed to applying our established workflows while integrating their clinical expertise. This role suits clinicians eager to enhance a proven process—not those seeking to replace GreyZone’s methodology with their own framework.
