Glass Fabricator at Quality Glass and Mirror Service
We are hiring for our glass production and materials handling team at Quality Glass and Mirror Service. We are a high growth, market leader in glass fabrication and installation in the greater Omaha Area. As a member of our production team at Quality Glass, you will handle materials to support the manufacture of specialized glass products for our customers. Quality fabricates industry-leading glass products for interior and exterior applications for a variety of projects across commercial, residential, education customers. This role requires a desire to learn, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results – our name is our reputation, and we take Quality seriously.
In this role you will
- Handle glass with care, ensuring proper safety measures are followed during all steps of fabrication.
- Transport glass between specialized equipment and program the equipment to fabricate finished glass products of the highest quality and consistency, including windows, doors, storefronts, skylights, railings, mirrors and more.
- Operate hand and power tools, such as glass cutters, drills, grinders, and suction cups, to carry out production tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly maintaining and storing all tools and equipment are.

Requirements
- Proven work experience in the manufacturing industry, bonus points for familiarity with the glass and glazing industry.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot glass-related issues.
- In-depth knowledge of different types of glass, including tempered, laminated, insulated, and decorative glass.
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing glass using various techniques and tools.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
