General Labor - Racking Specialists at Pioneer Metal Finishing

JOB REQUIREMENTS: This is a general labor position that directly

contributes to the success of your team! As a metal finishing facility,

you will need to be comfortable with the following: - Working in hot and

humid environments in the summer - Working in cooler environments in the

winter - Working around chemicals - Wearing safety toe footwear and eye

protection at all times Available Shifts: -1st - 7am - 3pm -3rd - 11pm -

7am Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further

processing, inspecting, or wrapping. Examine products to verify

conformance to quality standards. Lift raw materials, finished products,

and packed items, manually or using hoists. Pack and store materials and

products. Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment

between storage and work areas of plants and warehouses, by hand or

using hand trucks or powered lift trucks. Help production workers by

performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding

materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment. Count finished

products to determine if product orders are complete. Measure amounts of

products, lengths of extruded articles, or weights of filled containers

to ensure conformance to specifications. Mark or tag identification on

parts. Tie products in bundles for further processing or shipment,

following prescribed procedures. Record information, such as the number

of products tested, meter readings, or dates and times of product

production. Prepare raw materials for processing. Wash work areas,

machines, equipment, vehicles, or products. ***
