Position

Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a Procurement Manager who will play a critical role in optimizing procurement processes and providing strategic support across various departments for diverse indirect categories. This position is responsible for leading tactical and strategic procurement functions, focusing on categories such as Retail Operations, Facilities Maintenance, Events, Travel, Corporate Services and Visual merchandising.

This role is crucial in managing the RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, driving supplier selection, and aligning procurement activities with department strategy and spend management principles. The primary goal is to drive significant cost avoidance/savings while ensuring high quality and conditions indicative of LVMH are met, with a strong emphasis on multi-site operations.

Job responsibilities

Procurement and Category Management

  • Lead the tactical and strategic procurement functions for multiple indirect spend categories, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. Key categories of focus include Store Operations, IT, Facilities Maintenance, Events, Travel, Corporate Services, and Visual Merchandising.
  • Drive competitive bidding procedures, vendor selection, and contract negotiation to secure favorable terms and pricing across various categories.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and senior management on strategic projects to optimize spend, identify substantial cost-saving opportunities, and enhance supplier relationships.
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimizing long-tail spend and other strategic initiatives to drive and efficiency.

Data Analysis & Strategic Reporting

  • Develop, maintain, and present comprehensive dashboards of operational metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to procurement performance and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage advanced spend analytics, purchase order reports, and market data to identify significant opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.
  • Prepare and deliver regular, strategic reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior leadership, highlighting trends, performance and actionable recommendations.

Operational Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide strategic operational support to various departments, proactively identifying and resolving issues, and facilitating robust cross-functional communication and collaboration.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, drive best practices, and optimize overall operational workflows.
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.

Profile

Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related technical field.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a procurement organization, with at least 2-3 years in a management or category lead role, demonstrating strong category management expertise within indirect spend.
  • Proven experience leading procurement for categories such as Retail Operations, IT, Facilities Maintenance, Events, Travel, Corporate Services, and/or Visual Merchandising.
  • Demonstrated experience in a multi-site operational environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Advanced data analysis and spreadsheet processing (Excel) skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (PowerPoint, verbal, written) adapted to executive-level audiences.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, agility, flexibility, and a highly process-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with a proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership for strategic deliverables.

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $115,000- $130,000 annually, plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and two retirement plans, both with employer contributions.
