WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Customer Assistance Associate supports Collections with customer account inquires by researching and resolving account issues such as misapplied payments, extensions, first payment defaults, deceased accounts, and voluntary repossessions.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Research and resolve customer account inquiries and specialty servicing issues, including misapplied payments, extensions, first payment defaults, deceased accounts, and voluntary repossessions.
Review account activity, documentation, and system notes to determine appropriate resolution steps in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Communicate with customers and internal teams to gather information, provide updates, and support timely resolution of account issues.
Accurately document account information, research findings, and resolution actions in applicable systems.
Complete assigned work queues, follow-up activities, and daily tasks within established timelines and operational goals.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Minimum 0-2 years related experience in a call center performing Collections, Customer Service or Backoffice functions.
Automotive retail and/or lease experience a plus.
High school graduate or GED equivalent required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and documenting account information.
Ability to research customer account issues and follow established procedures to support timely resolution.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer and internal partner interactions.
Ability to prioritize assigned work, manage follow-up activities, and meet daily productivity goals.
Basic knowledge of customer service, collections, account servicing, and/or back-office support processes.
Customer-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively in a structured, metrics-driven environment.
Proven track record with delivering seamless customer experiences.
Ability to thrive in a performance coaching environment.
