We're looking for a creative and collaborative CBE Curriculum & Faculty Development Specialist to join our Academic Services team. In this role, you'll partner with faculty and academic leaders to design engaging, accessible, and high-quality competency-based curriculum that prepares students for success in today's workforce.

Compensation:$58,926.40/yr
What You'll Do
- Design and develop competency-based curriculum aligned with course, program, and institutional outcomes.
- Create engaging instructional materials including multimedia, interactive learning activities, assessments, infographics, and other educational resources.
- Collaborate with faculty to build, revise, and enhance competency-based courses and learning pathways.
- Coach and support faculty in implementing evidence-based teaching strategies and competency-based instructional models.
- Develop and facilitate faculty workshops, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure curriculum meets quality standards, accessibility requirements, and instructional best practices.
- Research and recommend innovative instructional design methods and technologies.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, training, adult education, or a related field.
- Certified (or willing to obtain certification) in the following programs:
- C-BEN Foundations: Powering a Skills-First Society with Competency-Based Approaches
- C-BEN Certificate: Designing Competency-Based Learning Solutions for Adults
- Teaching or training experience preferred.
- Knowledge of competency-based education (CBE) models and instructional best practices.
- Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Quality Matters certification, or the ability to obtain certification within two years of employment.
