Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7:30am – 3:30pm. It is also required to be available to respond to emergencies after hours.
FLATS LLC, a ProperXPM company, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and
help maintain our 202-unit apartment community in Pilsen. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on
maintenance experience in residential properties who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of

Requirements
- Complete assigned maintenance work orders promptly and effectively.
- Perform maintenance tasks in vacant units to prepare them for new residents ("apartment
- turns").
- Maintain common areas of the building, including hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and
- amenities.
- Conduct pool and seasonal amenity maintenance, including cleaning and basic equipment
- checks.
- Identify and resolve minor plumbing and electrical issues.
- Perform light carpentry, painting, drywall repairs, and general building repairs.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Maintain the property’s exterior, including trash pickup and snow removal.
- Respond to on-call, after-hours maintenance emergencies on a rotating schedule.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all areas meet safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Property Manager and other team members to ensure timely completion
- of tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests during maintenance visits.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in apartment or building maintenance, or a related trade.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing ladders, bending, kneeling,
- etc.).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
