Registered Nurse - Days - Flex Unit at Vetted Solutions

Role: Registered Nurse responsible for patient assessment, care planning, documentation, and evaluation in a psychiatric setting.

• Perform professional nursing duties, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with departments for patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, providing thorough handoffs.
• Interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather data and develop treatment plans that address physical, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Participate in setting and achieving departmental goals, contribute to program improvements, and assist in staff selection and orientation.
• Attend training, serve as a role model, and educate community groups on mental health topics.
• Supervise direct patient care as needed, working within budget constraints.

Qualifications and Skills: Nursing degree, current Illinois RN license, CPR certification, CPI certification within 90 days, and confidentiality. Preferred: psychiatric experience and knowledge of abnormal psychology.
