POSITION TITLE: Supply Coordinator/Floater
- REVISION DATE: May 2026
- REVIEW DATE: One year
- REPORTS TO: Manager of Contract Packaging
- PROVIDES SUPERVISION TO: No Supervisory Duties
- GENERAL EXPECTATIONS: The Supply Coordinator/Floater is responsible
for giving direction to consumers to properly fill Caterpillar parts
orders and moving material that is ready to be processed.
Responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with CWTCs mission,
policies, and in a manner that supports individuals with disabilities.
All employees are required to attend mandated training sessions.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good reading, writing and counting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills
- Previous experience with adults with disabilities helpful
Essential Duties
- Fill incoming CAT orders with all needed supplies
- Provide direction to consumers on sorting and moving material to
proper packaging areas
- Maintain, process daily order and control inventory on CAT indirect
supplies
- Maintain accurate tracking and flow system on all material received
- Troubleshoot receipt errors
- Maintain organization of all indirect material in carton room
- Tag material with proper paperwork for processing
- Quality control labels while batching with PWO
Other Duties
- Work in other production areas when work load allows
- Encourage consumers to work to their highest capacity
- Perform other tasks, not inconsistent with qualifications or regular
duties as assigned
- WORKING CONDITIONS: Physical requirements include lifting, bending,
walking, pulling, pushing, and standing for long periods of time.
Environmental factors include working indoors around dust, cardboard,
and moving equipment. Interpersonal factors include listening to
consumer issues and giving verbal encouragement of proper work habits.
- RELATED CONDITION: All employees are responsible for reporting any
information, however acquired, pertaining to possible abuse or neglect
of consumers to the Director of Quality Improvement, the Safety
Director, or the Executive Director.
- SAFETY AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION: Employees must follow all safety
policies and use necessary protective equipment when applicable.
Employees are responsible for reporting safety hazards and/or accidents
to their supervisors immediately.
