Press Brake/Punch Press Operator (CNC) at Okie Staffing

We are seeking an experienced Brake Press / Punch Press Operator to join our clients manufacturing team in Broken Arrow. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining brake press and punch press equipment used to fabricate small metal parts according to customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in metal fabrication and be capable of working independently in a production environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brake press and punch press machines to produce precision metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
• Select proper tooling, dies, and machine settings for production runs.
• Measure finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Inspect parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production efficiency.
• Monitor equipment for wear and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of brake press and/or punch press operating experience.
• Experience producing small metal fabricated components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of machine setup, tooling, and material handling.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of metal parts and materials.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and noise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CNC brake press equipment.
• Manufacturing or metal fabrication background.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
