Student Success Advisor, GT School (Remote) - $75,000/year USD at Crossover

Date: 5 hours ago
City: Renton, WA
Salary: $37.5 per hour
Contract type: Full time
Remote

You've already reached elite levels of performance—whether in sports, the arts, or professional settings. Now you're prepared to channel that achievement into meaningful impact. As a Student Success Advisor at GT Anywhere, you'll empower students to accomplish the extraordinary: develop a genuine passion for learning, accelerate their educational progress, and mature into assured, independent thinkers. And you'll accomplish this from any location worldwide.

GT Anywhere is the virtual learning environment designed for gifted learners who are prepared to advance rapidly. We combine AI-driven instruction with personalized coaching to provide what conventional schooling cannot: unlimited learning speed, rigorous engagement across sciences and humanities, and a network of intellectually matched peers. In your role as a Student Success Advisor, you'll support students in grades 3–8 who are eager to progress at an accelerated pace. Content instruction isn't your responsibility—our technology manages that. You're the mentor who cultivates confidence, maintains high standards, and guides students toward realizing their full potential. Each interaction carries weight. Each achievement matters.

If you've achieved excellence in any demanding field—athletics, performing arts, research, or business—and you're motivated to empower the next generation to do likewise, this position is for you.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Conducting biweekly one-on-one virtual coaching sessions with each student, centered on academic planning, motivation strategies, and mindset development
  • Hosting open office hours where students can access immediate support, guidance, or problem-solving assistance
  • Leveraging AI-powered tools and progress dashboards to monitor student advancement, pinpoint obstacles, and refine your coaching methods
  • Documenting observations, concerns, and strategic adjustments to keep each student on an accelerated growth path
  • Working alongside your team to exchange effective strategies, elevate issues when necessary, and continuously refine the coaching framework

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Instructing lessons, evaluating assessments, or distributing assignments—our technology manages the academic content
  • Presenting lectures or adhering to a prescribed curriculum
  • Supervising or excessively managing unmotivated students—we mentor, not micromanage
  • Attending pointless meetings or navigating bureaucratic processes
  • Operating at low intensity—this team is designed for individuals committed to high-level performance and meaningful impact
