General Purpose of Job
Performs secretarial, clerical, and administrative functions for the Clinic Director and professional staff. Maintains the patient schedule database.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains utmost level of confidentiality at all times.
Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines.
Assumes responsibility for the scheduling of department-based procedures by following established procedure.
Schedules patients in a timely manner when received from Physicians and their offices
Confirms with Physicians and their offices, the time and date of the procedures
Informs departmental leadership of scheduling conflicts and works to solve conflicts in a positive manner.
Maintains information system(s) related to assigned scope of responsibility.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
