Supply Chain Coordinator at Careerscape

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing logistics and distribution operation in Memphis, for a Supply Chain Coordinator to help keep goods moving smoothly from suppliers to customers. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented logistics professional who wants to play a central role in inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and vendor coordination for a company that is scaling its distribution footprint.

Day to day, you will be the connective tissue between purchasing, warehouse operations, and transportation, tracking shipments, resolving delays, and making sure the right product is in the right place at the right time. People who thrive in this role are organized problem solvers who are comfortable juggling multiple priorities, communicating clearly with vendors and internal teams, and digging into data to spot bottlenecks before they become bigger issues.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this role is $66,000 - $88,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily order fulfillment activities across purchasing, warehouse, and transportation teams
• Track inbound and outbound shipments and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile counts against ERP system data
• Communicate with vendors and carriers to confirm delivery schedules and resolve issues
• Prepare and analyze supply chain reports including on-time delivery and inventory turnover
• Support demand planning and forecasting efforts with historical data and trend analysis
• Assist in identifying process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up with suppliers
• Help maintain compliance with company policies and shipping regulations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, warehouse, and customer service teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, logistics, or related field preferred
• 2 to 4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory coordination
• Proficiency with ERP or WMS systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and data analysis
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for vendor and internal coordination
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work onsite in a hybrid schedule with occasional warehouse floor visits
• Experience with demand planning or procurement processes is a plus
