V3 Sports is a nonprofit located in vibrant North Minneapolis, focused on elevating our community through wellness, fitness, and education! Thanks to our amazing partners, donors, and incredible community members, we have been making waves in Minneapolis, serving over a thousand families since 2007.

Founded as a non-profit in 2007, the mission of V3 Sports mission is to elevate our community through wellness, fitness and education. In 2024, V3 Sports opened Phase One of the V3 Center, a 40,000 square foot health and wellness center that will grow to be a North Minneapolis community asset and a regional destination. The focus of Phase One is to provide a place for Northside residents of all ages to access water, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, physical rehabilitation and enjoy healthy and delicious food offerings.
Phase Two, which V3 Sports is actively fundraising for, will be a regional destination for sporting events, career fairs, community events, and other drivers of economic stability. At the V3 Center, Northside young people and families will access programming that supports their career and economic aspirations and builds the skills they need to make their dreams reality.
Wages and Benefits
$19 - $19.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience .

Join V3 Sports as a Membership Program Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of V3 Sports' membership program while helping create a welcoming, inclusive experience for members and guests. This role combines customer service, administrative support, and team mentorship to ensure members stay engaged in V3 Sports' mission of building healthier, stronger communities through wellness, fitness, and education.
Membership Operations & Team Support
- Help ensure smooth daily membership operations by maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and supporting administrative functions.
- Support scheduling, special projects, and department initiatives that improve efficiency and member experience.
- Track and report participation in senior wellness programs, including Silver Sneakers, One Pass, and other partner programs.
- Conduct membership audits and proactively connect with members to encourage continued engagement and participation.
- Support the training, mentoring, and development of Membership Specialists.
- Lead by example by fostering a positive, inclusive, and service-focused environment for staff, members, and guests.
Member & Guest Experience
- Welcome members and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm.
- Help ensure every guest has a positive experience and receives outstanding customer service.
- Assist members with questions, concerns, and program information while providing solution-focused support.
- Monitor and respond to membership-related communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Contribute to a safe, organized, and welcoming environment that reflects V3 Sports' commitment to community wellness.
Who You Are
- You have experience in customer service, membership, retail, hospitality, or in another customer-facing role.
- You can commit to working at least 12 hours per week.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy building positive relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
- You can work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
- You thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and are willing to learn new skills and responsibilities.
- You have experience working with, or a commitment to serving, individuals from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
- You can travel to locations within a 15-mile radius as needed.
- You are able and willing to maintain current CPR, First Aid, AED, and BBP certifications. (For new hires, training will be provided during onboarding.)
- Preferably, you have a valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to meet V3 Sports’ driving record requirements. Please note that if the license was not issued in the state of Minnesota, you have 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident in which to apply for your Minnesota driver's license or permit.
