Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized

Medical Records (HIM) professional to join our team at Storybrook Care and Rehabilitation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and Meaningful Use
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for medical records management
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Requirements

• 1 minimum years of experience in Medical Records or a related field
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Health Information Management (HIM) or related field preferred
