Claims Customer Service Representative at Brown & Brown

Brown & Brown is seeking a Claims Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Plano, TX!

To provide clerical support to the Claims Adjusters/Supervisors/Managers within Anchor Claims Management. Main responsibility is to provide assistance to Anchor Team and partner to support management and services of handling Employee Injury claims.

How You Will Contribute

• Input limited/administrative type information in Claims system

• Answer incoming phone calls from Providers/Policyholders/Vendors

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Open/Process mail & document management

• Data entry of new claims, and other support functions

• Audit Medical Bills (Workers Compensation & Texas Non Subscription)

• Make payments to Providers/Policyholders/Vendors under the approval/direction of Adjusters

Skills & Experience to be Successful

• High school diploma or GED

• Exceptional telephone demeanor

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

• 3 or more years in a similar position

• Experience in a job with insurance background working with claims adjusters (preferred)
