MoveDocs is seeking a Special Resolution Manager to lead a growing NLR (No Longer Represented) and Insurance Billing team, delivering exceptional service to the medical and legal community. This role manages day-to-day operations and develops staff. Success looks like operational discipline, team development, compliance, and strong alignment to our vision and values.
This position is based in our Charlotte, NC office.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and coach Senior Representatives, Representatives, and any contract staff to ensure effective daily operations.
- Drive process improvements and support department-level growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws related to personal injury and medical-legal services.
- Develop, update, and maintain departmental policies, SOPs, and playbooks.
- Build strong relationships with referral sources and cross-functional partners.
- Streamline communication and enhance provider and firm connectivity using technology tools.
- Partner with Provider Servicing, Business Development, and Paid to Facility to resolve operational issues.
- Monitor case intake, assignment, and audits to ensure timely follow-up and accurate funding commitments.
- Support staffing needs, including scheduling, coverage, and participation in recruiting.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and track goals, KPIs, and development plans.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions in partnership with leadership and HR.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- College Degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant industry or operations management experience.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing teams.
- Strong technical proficiency and an improvement mindset.
- Working knowledge of personal injury workflows, medical terminology, and provider operations.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and solution-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to work in-office in Charlotte, NC.
