Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from their medical appointments, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless and efficient transportation services
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate records of patient transports, including arrival and departure times, and any issues or incidents that may arise
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest transportation procedures and best practices

Ideal Candidate

• 0 years of experience in healthcare transportation or a related field
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required
• Ability to lift, push, or pull patients as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
