Campus Administration Custodian Supervisor - La Crosse, WI:
Supervises the daily operation of the Campus Administration Custodian Team to ensure all specific areas are kept in a clean, well maintained, and in an orderly condition. Responsible for the standards’ establishment, staff training/mentoring, schedule/resource coordination, workflow inspection, inventory maintenance and equipment supply/general maintenance. Maintain a positive and high-quality corporate image through best practices for cleaning, disinfecting and sanitation methods. Ensuring all areas are functioning at high levels of operation through-out the campus facilities.
Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide supervision, training, and support for the evening Custodian Team
- Ensure appropriate staffing and aid to the Custodians
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and oversee equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with management to support policies, implement change and provide improvements to better serve department efficiencies and time-management
Qualifications
- Completion of High School or GED preferred
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in custodial services, including knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and supplies is required.
- Experience in leading a team and working in an office setting is required
- Valid driver’s license
Successful candidates should demonstrate
- Knowledge of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and related safety when handling cleaning chemicals
- Basic troubleshooting and minimal repair knowledge on cleaning equipment
- Overall knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Knowledge and ability to use a computer
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
- Possess excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to meet all physical requirements.
- Ability to motivate and direct employees to meet goals and achieve positive results
Work Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, working evening hours. Must be willing to be flexible to support all staffing needs.
