Senior Landscape Architect at Synectics Inc.

Seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join a collaborative design build team focused on luxury residential landscape projects. This is an opportunity to lead projects from concept through construction while working closely with construction and field teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design high end residential landscape projects from concept through construction.
• Prepare site plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts, grading, drainage, and construction documents.
• Produce technical drawings requiring a professional landscape architect stamp.
• Conduct site visits during construction to ensure design intent and resolve field issues.
• Present design concepts and guide clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate closely with construction and field teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop regional plant palettes and design documentation.
• Support team collaboration and contribute to the growth of the design department.

Required Qualifications

• Active Landscape Architect license, or ability to obtain state reciprocity within 3 months.
• 5+ years of experience as a licensed Landscape Architect.
• Experience with design build projects and construction administration.
• Strong background in high end residential landscape design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with SketchUp, Lumion, or similar rendering software.
• Strong client presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, grading plans, drainage plans, and technical specifications.
• Self motivated with excellent project ownership and relationship building skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of regional plant materials and horticulture.
• Experience with residential design build firms.
• CLARB certification or eligibility.
