Position Summary

Red River Youth Academy is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a high level of cleanliness, sanitation, and readiness throughout the facility. This role is essential to creating a safe and welcoming environment for our staff and youth. All interactions must be appropriate and considerate of the populations served.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; technical training required.
• Experience: Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: CPI and CPR certification required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work weekends and holidays.
• Basic understanding of health care standards and regulations.
• Ability to maintain self-control in volatile situations.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Frequent walking, standing, climbing, kneeling, and lifting.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly.
• Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures.
• May encounter loud noise, moving mechanical parts, chemicals, fumes, dust, and poor ventilation.
• Requires repetitive hand and wrist movements and ability to communicate clearly.
