Construction Scheduler V at The Greenridge Group
The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies.
We are seeking an experienced Scheduler V (Lead Scheduler) to support a major capital improvement program for the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD).
This is a senior-level opportunity for a seasoned construction scheduling professional with extensive experience managing complex, multi-project capital programs. The Lead Scheduler will work closely with program leadership, project controls, construction teams, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain schedule integrity and support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update baseline, master, and detailed project schedules.
- Monitor construction progress against approved baseline schedules and key milestones.
- Review contractor schedule submissions for compliance, logic, critical path, milestones, and reporting requirements.
- Perform detailed schedule QA/QC and critical path analysis.
- Conduct Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and delay analysis and evaluate schedule impacts.
- Develop and maintain complex cost- and resource-loaded schedules.
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM), cash-flow forecasting, resource planning, and program reporting.
- Identify schedule risks, delays, conflicts, and potential recovery or mitigation strategies.
- Prepare schedule performance reports, forecasts, variance analyses, and status updates.
- Lead schedule discussions during progress meetings and stakeholder sessions.
- Coordinate closely with contractors, designers, project controls, construction management, and program leadership.
- Establish and maintain scheduling standards, processes, coding structures, and best practices.
- Lead onboarding and provide day-to-day guidance and supervision to project schedulers.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 15+ years of recent capital construction scheduling experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or Construction Management.
- An additional four years of qualifying experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera scheduling software and Microsoft Office, including MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience developing and managing cost- and resource-loaded schedules.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or similar processes.
- Strong knowledge of cost engineering, scheduling best practices, critical path methodology, and schedule forensics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- AACE Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification.
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
