Outside Sales / Metal Fabrication Business Development at Teklysium Inc

Job Summary

Drive new business by leveraging an existing network of customers and decision-makers in aerospace, defense, space, data centers, industrial/OEM manufacturing, or infrastructure. This is a hands-on hunter role focused on generating RFQs, winning new accounts, and growing profitable revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Use existing relationships to generate meetings, RFQs, and new business
• Develop new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events
• Sell custom metal fabrication, machining, welding, and assemblies
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through quoting and purchase orders
• Visit customers and prospects throughout Southern California
• Work with Engineering, Estimating, and Operations to develop solutions and quotes
• Follow up on quotes and convert opportunities into business
• Reconnect with former customers and lost opportunities
• Maintain an accurate CRM and strong sales pipeline
• Identify new markets, customers, and applications

Ideal Candidate

• Existing relationships in aerospace, defense, space, data centers, industrial manufacturing, OEM, or infrastructure
• Proven outside sales/business development experience in custom manufacturing, metal fabrication, machining, sheet metal, welding, or engineered products
• Demonstrated success opening new accounts and generating revenue
• Strong hunter mentality and comfortable with cold calling
• Technical ability to understand drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes
• Strong commercial judgment and CRM discipline
• Able to work independently and collaborate with Engineering, Estimating, and Operations

Important: Candidates must have a relevant industrial network they can leverage immediately. Generic B2B, software, retail, or customer-success sales experience without an established industrial network will not be considered.
