Paralegal at Richard Harris Law Firm

Date: 1 hour ago
City: Las Vegas, NV
Contract type: Full time

This Paralegal takes ownership of assigned tasks across the litigation lifecycle, from intake through trial. Personal injury litigation moves fast and generates a high volume of documents, emails, and information. The right candidate is not easily overwhelmed.

The role requires a clear understanding of internal and external deadlines, and the ability to get into the details of a file rather than working at a surface level. The right person is sharp, reliable, and committed to excellence in both work product and client service.

Essential Functions

  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and see them through to completion.
  • Track and meet both internal deadlines set by the attorney and external deadlines set by the court or statute.
  • Review case files in depth, including medical records, discovery, and pleadings, to understand where a case stands and flag issues.
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests, and organize document production.
  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and providers as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Get in Return

You will work closely with an attorney who will treat you as a professional, value your judgment, and invest in your growth. We are building a team of exceptional people who take pride in their work, support one another, and want to keep getting better at what they do. You will be challenged, trusted, and given opportunities to develop skills well beyond the traditional paralegal role. As your experience and confidence grow, so will your responsibility, including meaningful involvement in case strategy, trial preparation, and the work that happens in the courtroom. The goal is to build a team you are proud to be part of, doing work you are proud to put your name on, in a role you can genuinely be excited about.
