Janitor at Uta Halee Academy in Omaha, Nebraska

Uta Halee Academy (UHA) is a female-specific, residential program that offers young women opportunities to build productive and meaningful futures for themselves and their communities. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features residential student dormitories, on-site schooling, a dining hall, and extracurricular opportunities for the students. Pay: starting at $18.00/hour

What you will do: As a Janitor, you will ensure the cleanliness of our 44-acre site, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping our cottages, administrative building, education building, and staff house. The position requires frequent use of a mule or golf cart to get around campus. This position includes laundry tasks. This position may involve some interaction with our youth.

To be considered, you should: Possess a high school diploma/and or GED ~ possess a valid driver's license ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 5 a.m. - 1 p.m.
