Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Pain Management at Reno Orthopedic Center
Join us as an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) on our Pain Management team at Reno Orthopedic Center! You would work under our Pain Management physician, a newly established specialty service offered at ROC to help patients get back to what they love doing. Love seeing patients in clinic? A little more info about what you would do:
- You would work primarily at our Main Reno downtown location, with some travel to our Carson City clinic (around 4 days per month).
- You would work primarily in clinic. Assisting in some pain management procedures may come after being fully onboarded - seeing patients in clinic is the priority.
- The schedule can be either 4 or 5 days per week, full time, building to an estimated 20 patients per day.
- Experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider (especially in a related specialty area or setting) is helpful but not required - we are always willing to teach!

This convenient, all-inclusive campus is home to the region’s largest team of fellowship-trained orthopedic specialists, imaging, a walk-in clinic, Nevada's only total joint replacement specific outpatient surgery center, a five-suite general orthopedic outpatient surgery center, physical therapy and more. ROC continues to expand - in 2026, we have added vascular and pain management service lines in addition to our existing orthopedic specialties.

Requirements
Active Nevada professional license with no license restrictions (PA-C or APRN*).
*Nurse Practitioners must be certified to see patients of all ages (FNP).
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience working as a PA/NP in an orthopedic hospital/clinic setting.
Travel: This position may require travel based on clinic needs.
