About the Position

As an Commercial HVAC Foreman at Dave Jones, you will take on a leadership role on the job site, overseeing HVAC installation on Multi-Family Projects. You'll be responsible for guiding and mentoring your team, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a positive work environment and maintaining effective communication among team members and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of HVAC installation projects, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Lead a team of installers and apprentices, providing hands-on training and guidance to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Coordinate materials and equipment delivery, maintaining an organized and efficient job site.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for leading, exemplifying and promoting the Dave Jones culture and holding team members accountable to all Dave Jones safety requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the HVAC field, including previous supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and relevant codes.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to safety and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Lift above 50lbs regularly
  • Walking, Lifting, Twisting, Climbing Ladders, and other physical requirements consistently for 90% of your day
